The Meadhall

Central to social relationships is the thane's hall, where our Baron and Baroness will feast their guests. In an ideal world, this would be a thatched roof long building with an enormous hearth in the center where all gather to eat and drink and to hear the stories and songs. We will have to do what we can do about recreating that setting but regardless of how imperfect it is, very few things are more transporting that to hear the rhythms and sounds of the time period. Skalds, scops, bards, and even trouveres will be made welcome.
